The kingfishers should be back for their breeding season soon. They dig out a nesting hole in the ground and lay their eggs. They then defend their nest by sitting atop of the branches of the nearest shrubs and swoop any intrusive animals.
Now that my dog has been destroyed, the cats enter my
property with impunity.
This is a dilemma.
The cats need to be destroyed as most of them are feral, but also the neighbour believes he can let his cats roam.
I decided I will set the traps and then drown any cat that is caught.
The shire wont stop the cats,
the neighbour deliberately breeds feral cats and the population of native bird life has been decimated.
This is another stand I have to take, where I get kicked in the nuts for doing what is right.
